Why did you choose APSU?
I chose Austin Peay because of the sense of community I felt when I visited campus. Because of the campus’ smaller size, you meet lots of people and get to know your professors very well.

My favorite APSU tradition/memory.
Is AP’s new tradition of Tailgate Alley; it’s so much fun to hang out before the home football games and cheer for the team as they walk out to the field!

The number one thing I encourage future students to do/check out is:
Definitely come take a tour of campus. The tours are led by current students so you can learn a lot about college just by listening to them and asking them questions! Also, come to one of our sporting events or concerts. Whether it’s a football game or a choir performance, you’ll get to see some of the many fun things AP has to offer!

My favorite thing about Clarksville is…
the food and shopping! There are tons of restaurants to choose from including some great local places downtown. Clarksville also has a good mall and some great boutiques downtown! I also like the Rivers and Spires Festival that is held every spring…it combines my three favorite things—food, shopping, and music!

The thing I most enjoy about working in Admissions is…
being in a University atmosphere; I loved college so much! By working for Austin Peay, I can still be involved in the goings on of campus.

Anything else I want you to know…
Austin Peay was my home for four years and I had a great college experience. We want you to have a great college experience too! Come see us and don’t be afraid to ask questions!
