 Why did you choose to attend APSU?
Austin Peay has a very strong Broadcast Media program, which was my main interest coming out of high school.  Mainly, APSU was just a great fit for me. I have always been a fan of the Clarksville community also.

What is your favorite APSU tradition?
Mudbowl and intramural sports. It’s great to see that college students are able get out, have some fun and act like kids again. Intramural sports are also a great way for former athletes or sports fans in general to stay competitive.

The number one thing I encourage future students to do/check out is...
You have to get involved. College is so much more enjoyable when you do more than go to class and then go home. Check out all the student organizations that range from Student Government and professional organizations to Greek fraternity and sororities.

When I’m not at APSU or recruiting students, I’m…
watching football or basketball and playing cornhole with my friends.  I also enjoy traveling with family.

The thing I most enjoy about working in Admissions is…
The opportunity to share my experiences at APSU with other students and help them understand what a great decision attending our university is.

Anything else I want you to know…
My 4 years at APSU were incredible. College is a time where you not only learn about what you want to do with your life, but where you also grow as a person.  My time at Austin Peay helped me so much in this aspect that it was an easy decision when I had the opportunity to work here.
