Why did you choose APSU?
For the same reason as everyone else did… our cheer (Lets Go PEAY)?! The small class size and big campus feel was very appealing to me. I wanted to be a part of a campus that gave me the opportunity to get involved in tons of organizations while being able to study and excel in my field of choice while having a place to call home.

What is your Favorite APSU Tradition?
Basketball Season at the Peay is fantastic! The atmosphere is fierce, loud and full of action!

The number one thing I encourage future students to do is...
Get involved! One of the best things Austin Peay gives to their students is “Opportunity”. Opportunity to learn, grow, teach, interact, experience, etc… We offer our students over 100 student organizations to choose from.

Catching up with my girlfriends and family, walking, playing with my two Jack Russell’s, bargain shopping and cooking.

The thing I most enjoy about working in Admissions is…
Being a part of your Austin Peay journey. Part of my job is to help educate students on what Austin Peay has to offer. Picking a college is one of the many tough decisions you will make in your life. For me helping, motivating and encouraging students to come to Austin Peay is very rewarding. The Peay has done great things for me and it can do so much for you if you allow it to.
 
Anything else I want you to know…
I have lived in two countries, 5 states, I am a tree hugger and since I have lived in Tennessee I have fallen in love with Bluegrass!
