Admission for Readmitting Students

Submit an APSU undergraduate admission application online or fill out the PDF version

  • You may apply using the Online Application form for admission and readmission or the PDF Application.
  • You must reapply for admission if you have not attended for one or more semesters at main campus or two or more terms at Fort Campbell.
  • Application Deadline -- All required information must be received prior to admission, evaluation of transfer credit and registration.

► Admission Requirements

  • Students may be readmitted to Austin Peay if they were in good standing when they last attended APSU or if they have attended another college and are currently in good-standing at that college.

  • Official college transcripts - If the student has attended another college since APSU, official transcript(s) from the college(s) regardless of whether they wish to receive credit must be sent to the Office of Admissions directly from the institution.   Hand-delivered transcripts are not acceptable. You may print our Transcript Request Form and send it to your previous institutions.

  • Active Duty Military & Veteran - Click here for required documentation.
COMPASS - Find out whether you’re required to take the COMPASS. The COMPASS is designed to help you succeed in college studies. It provides you and your academic advisor with important information about your individual skills, your preparation for the program or degree you wish to pursue and about your special educational needs. Test scores will assist your advisor in placing you in courses most suited to your preparation and needs. In short, the COMPASS is the first step toward achieving your academic goals.

Immunizations - All first-time, readmitting, and graduate students entering institutions of higher learning provide proof of two immunizations with the Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) vaccines, which were administered on or after the first birthday. The law further states a student will not be allowed to register for classes until this requirement is met.

Housing: Freshmen Residency Requirement - In an attempt to provide opportunities for growth and development outside the home, any full-time, single freshman student under 21 years of age, not residing with his/her parents or legal guardians, is required to live in University Housing for the first two academic semesters.
