AAPS Academic Partners Preparing for Success is a collaborative mentoring program established with the support of the Academic Support Center, Office of Academic Alert, President's Emerging Leaders Program (PELP), the Nontradional Student Association, and the Student Veterans Organization to match volunteer student mentors with students referred by concerned faculty through the Academic Alert Program as needing additional support and assistance. The volunteer mentors will offer encouragement, advice, support, and knowledge gained from experience to their fellow students through a one on one relationship which is designed to lead to improved student performance and retention.
