Alerting Students Who are Earning a Grade Less Than a C
Beginning in the Fall 2010 semester and terms, the Academic Alert system was modified to include Performance Checks. Faculty are now asked to access their Academic Alert rosters during the dates announced and notify any student whose performance, if continued, will result in a grade below a C. These Performance Checks are simply another step to monitor student progress and to attempt to retain more students. The Performance Check will also be sent to the Office of Academic Alert, APSU 1000 instructors for those students currently enrolled in APSU 1000, and the student’s academic advisor for follow up. Faculty are also ask to submit mid-term grades.
