Revitalization for Academic Success Initiative
At Austin Peay we know that getting off to a good start has an profound effect on student success. What is more today’s pedagogy tools offer possibilities for learning that are unique to our time.
The RASI program, a partnership between the Office of the Provost, the Center for Teaching and Learning and the Faculty Senate, is designed to encourage groups of faculty to re-imagine the structure of fundamental courses on our campus so that by redesigning these high impact courses we might improve student success.
The first year saw 31 proposals from every college. The 9 selected proposals are now preparing to implement their pilot initiatives in the fall.
