Faculty Leadership Program

Austin Peay is committed to creating opportunities for faculty to undergo ongoing training and personnel development, and by doing so to invest in the abilities of our faculty. This new program is a partnership between the Office of the Provost, the Center for Teaching and Learning, and the Center for Extended and Distance Education.

Beginning in Fall 2011, each semester the 10 selected faculty will have the opportunity to go through a rich faculty development experience. This series of 15 day long workshops will provide experiences ranging from innovative pedagogy and technology skills, campus groups and organizations, different administrative responsibilities, and other details that would help faculty prepare to serve as knowledgeable representatives and leaders of Austin Peay.
