Director of Disability Services, was recently appointed to the
Advisory Council for the Education of Students with
Disabilities. The Council monitors progress in programs serving
children with disabilities.

Reggie Wooden (Web/Internet Specialist) - We extend our best wishes to
Reggie and would like to acknowledge our appreciation for his
support during his terms as Secretary of the Steering Committee
and a member of our Standing Committees. His last day at APSU is
July 31, 2008.
Dr. Andrew Smallwood (Assistant
Professor/Coordinator of African American Studies) - We extend our best wishes to
Dr. Smallwood and would like to acknowledge our appreciation for his
support as a member of AASAF. His last day at APSU is
July 31, 2008.
Robin Wilford (Manager, Human Resources) - We extend our best wishes to
Robin and would like to acknowledge our appreciation for her
support during her term as Treasurer of AASAF. Her last day at APSU
is
June 30, 2008.
Tamira
Cole (Reception Clerk,
Office
of the Registrar) - We extend our best wishes to Tamira
in
pursuing her summer advanced studies at Brown University
and
internship in Ireland, Canada and India. Tamira says: “I
just
want to thank you all so much for everything (for the
luggage
and well wishes)! I feel extra special. Man, you guys
are heaven
sent and awesome. I will keep you posted once my website
hits.”
Tamira’s last day at APSU is June 19, 2008.

Marsha
Lyle-Gonga for
completing her
Ph.D. program in Public Policy and Administration, from
Walden
University. Marsha is APSU's Director of High School
Upward
Bound. She holds a Master's in Urban Administration at
Trinity
University and a Bachelor's in Political Science for Our
Lady of
the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas.
David Davenport,
who has been
chosen by TBR as a 2008 Maxine Smith Fellow from Febr. - Nov.
2008. David is Austin Peay's Director of University Recreation
and one of only eight Maxine Smith Fellows selected statewide.
During his term, he will be spending part of his workdays at
Tennessee Technological University where Dr. Robert Bell,
president, will serve as his mentor.
J. L. Wooten for completing his Master's
degree program in Management. J.L. is APSU's Computer
Laboratory Technician and is responsible for installing and
maintaining computer terminals, microcomputer equipment and
other electronic equipment for the university.
