Reservation Agreement

Thank you for reserving the AACC for your event! As the point-of-contact for your reservation, you must complete the following agreement so that you know what is expected from you and your group while renting the center. Failure to adhere to any of the rules set forth below will result in a loss of reservation privileges for the Wilbur N. Daniel African American Cultural Center for the rest of the semester and/or the rest of the academic year. Failure to adhere to any of the rules set forth below may or may not result in cleaning charges by the University Facilities Office.

Please note: You only need to complete this agreement once per academic year.

The following set of rules apply to the Point-of-Contact (POC) and the entirety of the group. Furthermore, the POC, by agreeing to the rules below, takes full responsibility for the entirety of said group. *These rules may be changed without notice at the discretion of the WNDAACC staff.

1. As POC, I will ensure that the following sign-in sheet is printed ahead of time, brought to the WNDAACC, completed by guests who attend the function, and left on the reception desk for the WNDAACC staff.
2. As POC, I understand that I will not have access to the kitchen area unless I specified that I need this access on my reservation.
3. As POC, I understand that if I am granted access to the kitchen area, I will leave it in the condition that I found it. (I.e. clean dishes, wipe counters, clean stove/microwave, etc…)
4. As POC, I understand that if I am granted access to the kitchen area, I will not use any of the WNDAACC items for my event.
5. As POC, I will ensure that the tables/chairs, etc… that are used during the event are cleaned.
6. As POC, I understand that tables and chairs may be moved during the time of my event but that they must be placed back in the order you found them using the following diagram:
7. As POC, I understand that I need to empty trashcans, if used, and dispose of any trash in the dumpsters located behind Felix Woodward Library. Event trash is not to be left behind in the WNDAACC.
8. As POC, I will ensure that the main and rear entrance to the WNDAACC are locked and secured when I leave.
9. As POC, I will ensure that the lights are turned off when I leave.
10. I further understand, as POC, if any of the aforementioned links are broken, I will contact WNDAACC immediately to have this corrected. In the meantime, I am still responsible for any rules that I do not follow and will be held accountable.
