Project WET Workshops

Project WET lessons are correlated to TN standards in Science, Language Arts and Social Studies (also available online).

Most workshops are K-12 and interdisciplinary.

Workshops listed on www.eeintennessee.org are open to all K-12 educators: public and private school teachers in all subject areas, non-formal educators such as park rangers, nature center staff, museum staff and pre-service teachers in college.

The Project WET Curriculum & Activity Guide is only available to individuals who complete a six-hour Project WET workshop.

Project WET activities are engaging to students, teach Tennessee water quality issues, and are provided in a variety of formats: inquiry, group, whole body, and more.

Many workshops include a stream learning experience where location and weather allow. Please dress appropriately.

Most workshops require a transferable, but non-refundable, advance registration fee of $10. This fee covers all materials and may include lunch. Ask for details about your workshop.
Advanced workshop sessions covering topics such as Stream Water Quality Monitoring, sessions targeted for particular subjects or grade levels, and shorter sessions at conferences (Guide not included) may also be available.
Private workshops may be scheduled for your school or organization if you can assemble a group of at least 25 educators to participate.
