Where to Apply, and What to Submit
Come to our office to fill out an application. It is Room 212 in the
McReynolds building on the APSU campus. (See a copy of the map
here.) Bring your DD214 Member 4 form and your most
recent IRS 1040 tax return when you apply. We need these forms to determine your
eligibility. They will be returned to you after we make copies to file with your
application.
Assessment Exam
When you apply, you will take an assessment exam. Plan to spend
approximately 2 - 3 hours on it.
This assessment exam is not "pass/fail." Veterans Upward Bound uses the
results to determine your academic needs and to create individualized
materials for your academic refresher studies.
