satisfy State of Tennessee guidelines for licensure to teach physics and

2020; BIOL 1010, 4400; CHEM 1010 or 1110; GEOL 1110; and the
Professional Education minor. Professional Teaching is required for
licensure.

with teaching licensure in Tennessee: (OPTION 1 - 20 hours): PHYS 1010,
1020, 1200; (2010, 2020) or (2110, 2120); or, (OPTION 2 - Physic Minor
18 hours): PHYS 2110, 2120; select eight hours from (3005, 3010, 3030,
3100, 3550, 3700, 370L, 3800, 3900, 390L, 4000; National Teacher's Exam
(NTE) Physics specialty exams (code 10261, minimum score of 124; code
10431, minimum score of 138; code 30483, minimum score of 148; code
30262, minimum score of 135 or code 30433, minimum score of 130). If a
candidate holds Tennessee licensure in Biology and Chemistry, candidate
is only required to take code 10261, minimum score of 124. Student
Teaching may be required.
