Payment Information  (Fee Payment Dates)
Your check or money order should be made payable to Austin Peay State University. Put your name and student ID number on all checks, money orders, correspondence and documents.
You may also pay by Visa, MasterCard or American Express (the University does not accept Discover). Complete the back of the bill or the "Payment by Mail" form with the necessary credit card information.
Your bill may be paid in three payments using the Installment Plan.  For the details and requirements check the Installment Plan Contract.  (Note:  The Installment Plan is not available for the Summer term.)

 (Payment & Refund Policy)

PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH!

Confirmation of Classes
Confirmation is necessary to prevent your classes from being dropped.  Even if your account shows a zero or credit balance, you must complete the confirmation process to retain your classes. See step by step instructions by clicking on this link.

Any additional correspondence should be sent to:

Austin Peay State University
Attention:  Accounts Receivable
P. O. Box 4635
Clarksville, TN 37044

Payments may also be made in person at the Cashier's Window in the Browning Building from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday or via the OneStop.
Since bills are in the student's name, the student bears responsibility for payment. For this reason, the semester bills are sent to the student's home address and subsequent bills to the student's local address. Parents (or anyone else) may not receive specific information about a student's bill per federal regulations on the right to privacy.
Any check returned or refused by your bank will result in a $30 charge. Payments received after the due date printed on the bill WILL be assessed a $50 late payment fee, and you must re-register for your classes.

Registration Cancellation and Withdrawal (Withdrawal Dates)
Non attendance does not relieve you of your financial obligation or entitle you to a refund.
Students who have confirmed or validated their registrations must officially withdraw from the university if they decide not to attend APSU.  The charges on your bill remain your obligation unless you properly withdraw from the University. If you withdraw before the first day of class, you will not incur tuition liability. After that, you will be held responsible for the charges in accordance with the refund schedule.
