Reminder: GIS Clinic

The GIS Center is conducting a GIS Clinic on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon in MC205C. Anyone interested in or currently using GIS is welcome. This clinic is designed to assist students in their GIS studies and to further their GIS knowledge. It will also facilitate faculty with an open discussion forum in utilizing GIS for their research.

Study Abroad Program in Spain

The fall orientation meeting for the summer in Spain will be this Saturday,at 1:00 in UC 305. Students attending the program will spend 3 weeks in Madrid and 1 week in the Mediterranean city of Alicante. The program is all-inclusive.

Earn $540 per semester as circulation manager for The All State

The All State student newspaper is accepting applications for a student circulation manager. Each Wednesday morning, the circulation manager picks up the newspaper on campus and distributes it to newspaper racks across campus. English Exit Exam

All English Majors must take the English Exit Exam to meet graduation requirements. The exam will be offered on 11/23 and 11/30 both fall on a Monday. The exam will be held in Harned 201 at 5:00 p.m. You do not have to bring anything with you. The test is online.

William Rodriguez

Rodriguez was employed as a maintenance worker at the World Trade Center at the time of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attack. The only person at the site with the master key to the North Tower stairwells,he bravely led firefighters up the stairwell. Come hear his story. Required Reporting of Race and Ethnicity Information

We are required by the Federal Government to update all students race and ethnicity information to the new categories. In order to accomplish this, all students will be prompted to complete the race and ethnicity survey when they log in to One Stop (http://onestop.apsu.edu) or AP Self Service (http://webss.apsu.edu).
