Roadmap to Enrollment at APSU

Welcome to Austin Peay State University!  Below, is list of steps designed to guide you through the rest of the enrollment process at Austin Peay.

STEP 1
Apply for Admission

If you have not already been accepted, to Austin Peay State University, you can complete the Online Admission Application.  To check the status of your admission application, please visit APSU's Admissions Application Review Web site.

STEP 2
Apply for Scholarships

To be considered for all scholarships at Austin Peay, students should complete the Online Scholarship Application. Academic scholarship decisions are made based upon information provided on the admission application.

STEP 3
Apply for Financial Aid

To be considered for all other types of financial aid at Austin Peay, students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). For more information on financial aid, please visit http://www.apsu.edu/financialaid/.

STEP 4
Apply for Housing

All freshmen who do not commute from the home of a parent or legal guardian are required to live in the University residence halls. All freshmen must complete a Housing Application at http://www.apsu.edu/housing/Application to live on campus.

STEP 5
Submit your Medical Forms

All first-time, readmitting, and graduate students entering Austin Peay must provide proof of two immunizations of the Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR), via a Certificate of Immunization. Students who have graduated from a Tennessee high school after 1998 or were born before Jan. 1, 1957 are not required to provide proof of immunizations. All students (regardless of graduation date or date of birth) must show two immunizations of varicella.  For more information on immunization requirements, please visit http://www.apsu.edu/healthservices/MMR.

STEP 6
Learn About Registering for Classes and Orientation

All new freshmen and transfer students must attend Summer or Winter Welcome, an advising and registration session. All first time, full time freshmen are also required to attend the Freshman Orientation.  Transfer students (with more than 12 credits) may complete their orientation and registration activities on-campus or online.  Watch your APSU email and your post mail for additional information on class registration and orientation!

STEP 7
Submit your Final Transcript

If you attended high school or college during the last term, the Admissions Office needs your final transcript. Please ask your School Counselor or Registrar to send your final transcript to: APSU, Office of Admissions, Box 4548, Clarksville, TN 37044.
