In observance of Women’s History Month, the Wilbur N. Daniel African American Cultural Center, cordially invite you to the first annual Purse and Pleasantry Tea Talk Event, beginning   on Thursday, March 18 - 23, 2010. Our Honoree Host will be Mrs. Lee Hall. The event begins with all women donating 1-2 purses, by March 18. From Friday, March 19 -22, all purses will be on display, for everyone to view and participate in the silent auction. Anyone can bid on a purse.  All winners will be announced on
Tuesday, March 24, at the Tea Talk.   The Tea Talk will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  All proceeds and remaining purses will be donated to “The Safe House”, a women’s shelter here in Clarksville. A representative from the shelter will be present, to receive the donation.   We are asking all APSU women to participate, in a very good cause. We are asking for new or slightly used purses.
